I've always used homemade aluminum vise jaws in the past and they work most of the time, but for softer items I chose to order these soft vise jaws from Trisence. Magnets don't seem to sit flush in the jaws of the TRISENSE 4" Magnetic Vise. The first set I had was the worst. As pictured, one of the magnets is sticking out a lot. The hole the magnet is in doesn't seem to be deep enough. The jaws are therefore not properly seated in the vise. I sent them back to Revain and the seller sent me a second set.
