One of the screw-in tips broke within the first 15 minutes of using this pen on the top part rendering it completely unusable as it got stuck and other tips could not be used will. Either this is a very cheap product or I received a defective product. Very disappointed as I have an older and cheaper pyrography pen and bought this as an upgrade.

So I got this product and I'm new to wood burning. I would recommend that for beginners. When I received it I noticed that some of the tips were scattered. But it's just a packaging error. I love all the advice he gives and the directions are really helpful and helpful. If you follow ALL the instructions, you really shouldn't have any problems with the tool. Not worth the price. Its only advantage is that it heats up quickly. Cheaply made, the wires are bare both at the shaft and at the end. The end looks like it has the typical reinforced rubber reinforcement that protects the cable from kinks and damage, but upon closer inspection it's just a hollow piece of plastic with wires inside. Very happy with this set! For the price I paid I am impressed that so many items were included - a stencil and loads of nozzles. I can do something really cool with that. The tips are easy to replace, but allow them to cool slightly before replacing to avoid damaging the threads.
