I received 2 sets of these for Christmas from my son. They are really excellent. They do a very good job of blocking the light and I am quite pleased for those days when a headache hits. My brother was surprised how dark it kept the room and even went so far as to put on his forehead light thing and stand behind the curtains to see how much of the light they blocked - no light could be seen at all. I had already purchased the Citadel for a bedroom and they block out all the light except for around the edges. Citadel is a medium color and it worked very well to black out the light. I got these panels to help insulate our living room area from the heat that seeped in from our window. My husband had been hanging blankets over the blinds in an effort to retain the air conditioned coolness in the summer, but a few days of this makeshift look was more than I could bear. Absolutely love my curtains. They block out the sun and heat very well. I like the curtains open for natural sunlight but when it gets too hot I have to give it up. The room cools dow very quickly once I close the curtains. The quality supersedes the price. They are soft, thick (not too heavy) good quality material. I'll be ordering these for my room! Oh and I hate to iron so these are straight out the package on to the wall.

Orderded two panels in black. True to size. Silky feel but surprisingly they do not catch lint or dog hair like I feared. The dog practically lives in this room on a black futon that we CONSTANTLY have to vacuum and sticky roll but these curtains all look freshly laundered no matter what. They are thick and sturdy. The block the light but not completely black. They block the cold (winter in Northern MN) very well and I imaging, will block heat this summer too. Quite impressed with these. Many comments about not being darkening and then they show a picture of a light color. The details actually specify and show a graphic that the color of the fabric determines how effective at darkening these will be - a light color won’t do much, but a darker color will be much more effective. The curtains hang nicely right out of the box. They could benefit from an iron or steaming. Most curtains in this price range have a 1/4 inch hem on bottom and sides. These have an 1 1/2" bottom hem on bottom and 3/4" on the sides, giving them a much more finished look. Room darkening is as stated 50% for the white curtains. I bought them longer than my window thinking size was going to be wrong so I had to get them fixed to fit properly. True to size. I recommend to mesure the windows before purchase so you won’t have the same problem i did

These do darken the room, nice material heavy. I bought the gray and it's a warm gray very happy with these. I bought a 2nd set.

These are nice curtains, however the size I bought and the size I received don't add up. I should have had 10" on each side extra, but it barely fits my window width. Can't send them back because now you get charged for returns so I'll just keep them and if I have company I'll just keep them open. I'm also hoping the wrinkles come out.

I bought these to break up the white only curtains I had up. They came folded, so I put them in the dryer for 15 minutes with the dryer sheet and it came out beautiful. Don't hesitate they're really worth the money.

I ordered these in the 63 and 84 length in the same color. The grommets on the 84's are silver and the 63's are antique brown. The curtains are for the same room so they look weird. There isn't an option to pick the grommet color so I'm a little confused. Other than that they are the perfect color and look great.

I love the look of it. The color could fade over time! It blocks out the hot sun and nobody can look in but yet it lets the room stay light

These where’s super cheap compared to my other curtains, however they are thicker and rich in the quality. I received many compliments on the way they look. I did have to iron them out of the packaging but once they got hung they stayed wrinkle free.

Curtains were as advertised in length and width, but the fabric was fantastic. Problem was my wife didn't like the color. We re ordered the proper color and our return as well as o is in process. Can't wait for our curtains !

The fabric is a bit strange, not as silky as expected. But they drape nicely and look good enough to brighten bed rooms. They are heavy weight and the white is a good crisp white. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews well enough as these are not room darkening. I had to order a separate liner.
