Nice size, but overheats and come inoperable with heavy load.

I used this switch 5-7 times before it stopped working . Appears a small piece of plastic melted inside the switch mechanism. I used 14-2 as my supply wire, running a router and shop vacuum off the switch. appears this was too much voltage for this switch. I believe to contact heated up during my last use and when I turned off the switch and the contact retracted, it melted the plastic and now the switch will not stay on. the power transmits when I depress the green button, but stops…
