A month later the button started to stick, which led to the inoperability and had to be replaced. I think that's why they offer 2 per pack. Plan for a replacement - not recommended.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to add a switch to my outdoor wall light. These little switches worked great. They are easy to install, have a small profile and are easy to change.

I hooked up LED step lights that I wanted to turn on only when needed. Since they were connected to timer lights that turned on each night, I used this switch (mounted on a PVC tube with a cover) to turn the stage lights on or off as needed. Impeccable performance even after heavy rain.

I installed these two switches on the outdoor landscape lighting. They worked great for about 1 week. Then one failed and the other 2 days later. I can tell the switch mechanism is broken as it no longer "clicks" when you press it. Literally it was cycled on and off maybe 5-6 times before it failed. I do NOT recommend.

I only bought this switch because it was waterproof. I installed it outside on my RV. When I came back to it a week later, I turned it off to check and it wouldn't turn back on. It rained only twice in one week, and both times there were light showers. I opened the switch and rusty water flowed out of the "waterproof" cover.

The original switch is a 3-wire switch that allows the flashlight to have an additional function. One is when the door is open and the other when you are inside and press to turn on the light.
