🔍 Replacement Mirror for Honda Accord Left Side (Non-Heated) - TYC 4700932 Review

Was a clumsy guy had to return it but for those who don't care it was the good part. Build quality was good, I just wish it was clear that this is not an OEM or even a folding type so I would know before buying. The seller is pleasant in communication, fast service.

So I have a 2015 Honda Accord (silver grey) and I broke the driver's side mirror. Got this one and it was perfect as my mirror cover (skull cover) was still intact so I didn't have to paint it, just replaced it. Of course that's a big problem, but when I did that and installed it on a new mirror, it looked exactly like the original part. It can even be folded like the original. I really like him, I won't lie. :)

Firstly this is not an OEM replacement. You can definitely tell the difference in quality between the original and this replacement. The mirror doesn't fold like the original and the replacement motor I got didn't work. The internal motor and clips holding the mirror are different from the original and are more fragile, causing some of them to break when removed to replace the skullcap. All in all it does the job as a replacement and for the price I was expecting some flaws.

The overall construction and quality of the case itself appears to be top notch as others have said it doesn't stack like an OEM. I can live with that. What I can't figure out is that the mirror itself has a weird reflection on the edge, like a mirror in a funny house. I can't get used to it because it's so cheap that I bought a stick-on mirror from K Source, part number 99272. Mirror is easy to install. Many YouTube are there if needed. Basically open the triangular cover on the inside and move the door panel back just enough to get at the three nuts and the wire clip. You don't even have to remove the door panel completely. Simply loosen two screws behind the inside door handle and one under the switch bezel and create enough space to hide your hands. Ok so I don't know if I have a defect or bought the wrong part, it fits my 2013 Honda Accord. The problem is that the cable hanging from the power supply to move the mirror is wrong.
