Great for CR-V, not like original but fits and works great!

Passenger side condenser fan has failed on my CR-V. This was bought as a replacement. It is non-OEM and not identical to the original Honda, but it fits and performs as expected. You can replace it by loosening the radiator mounts and sliding them back in, but your mileage may vary in this endeavor. I haven't had any issues since replacing it over a year ago and my machine runs smooth and fast!

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No Power

Homemade fan installation was easy

I just bought a Honda Element with over 200,000 miles and found the condenser fan never came on - I had 13 volts from the plug and the fan coil showed zero ohms so I needed to replace it . I got everything done today 1/2 hour after the fan arrived at my door. From the previous owner's service records that he gave me, I noticed that this fan had been dealer replaced about 100,000 miles ago - the cost of that repair was $323. Florida is hard on that fan motor.

  • Cool product
Cons

Works well. Good price but

Works well. Get ready for a little more complexity than the existing "videos" reveal. Purchase replacement brackets for your item. The best and easiest way is to remove the lower protection plate. Although the bottom of the fan fits into the slots, you still need access to the cable bracket. Pinch the open end of this white nylon to remove. It's also easier to see the lower fan seats and get to the lower radiator mounting screw (which also needs to be removed).

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost never

2003 Honda Element EX AWD - Thumbs Up

I installed this on my 2003 Honda Element EX AWD with 135,000 miles. The Honda dealer asked $490 for the replacement. I took the chance and ordered a returned unit for $34.14 and did the repair myself. (I also ordered a TYC Honda replacement radiator fan for $32.12. Might as well replace it since I stripped the front end). It took me about 90 minutes to replace both fans and put everything back together. Both fan mounts are aligned, there are no problems with installation/connections. So far…

Looks great and costs a lot less than the OEM

Honda's OEM fan for the 2005 Honda Element is just ridiculously expensive. The fan motor alone for this unit, from a trusted online Honda Genuine Parts dealer, costs more than 3 times the price of an entire TYC assembly! The fan fits well and appears to be of decent quality and all electrical connections and terminals fit perfectly. The fan blades rotate slightly differently than the original part. But for such a simple thing that just needs to be turned on every once in a while and twisted a…

Burnt out in 2 years

2 stars because it worked as expected for some time. I bought this in June 2015 and just found that it no longer works and I need to buy another one. I haven't turned on my AC since last summer because it was having problems, but now I suspect the problems are because that fan actually stopped working last summer, meaning it worked for 2 years. I'm not sure what the typical life expectancy of a replacement is. There are fans but I'm sure it's more than 2 years old. Maybe it was once and my next

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Compatibility

Warning - Fan mismatch - Make sure it matches your model year

Revain "Garage" function FAILED. According to Revain, this AC condenser fan assembly (passenger side) fits a 2007 Honda Element. As you can see (photo) on the TYC manufacturer's packaging, it's 02 to 06. If that works for you, you're good to go. The two "pins" that allow the assembly to sit properly on the heatsink were too small/narrow. I used a fan from a new build and installed it on an old build - fan motor only - good value. A star. I had to search the manufacturer's website for the model…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Some errors

THIS WILL NOT FIT THE HONDA ELEMENT, YOU MUST USE THE OLD OR ORIGINAL COVER.

Can't give 5 stars. Although it was brand new when you received it, Revain needs to be expanded and more compatibility features added. I bought 2 AC condenser fans for my wife's car '06 Honda Crv and my '07 Honda Element. Compatibility tells what goes with an item. I already removed the old fans the night before, so I'm just putting them in. I struggled to get the 2 bottom pointed posts in to fit the hole. 1 works, the other doesn't. I understand this is a different fairing for the fan. it fit…
