Good looking but NOT compatible with 1997 Outback Sport.

Looks solid and strong. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 1997 IMPREZA OUTBACK SPORT. I will not leave 1 star because it doesn't fit, I will work with the seller to get the correct part. I will add photos with measurements to help others.

The fan works reliably and solidly Can be installed without hesitation

The fan itself works normally. It's actually easy to install in my 2003 Subaru. Subaru made the fan extremely difficult to access. You have to remove the glove box and some screws and stuff and then remove the wiring harness mounts to get it out of the way and then put the fan back in place. So a good fan. Installing a 2003 Subaru Outback is a test of patience.

Perfect fit for a good price.

The original 1997 Subaru Outback fan lasted 20 years and I expect the same from this replacement. The car was made in Indiana and it is certain that the original fan was made in the USA and not in Japan. The original fan failed because it would regularly not start. The fan was installed with no fan or duct modifications, and the electrical equipment associated with the Subaru also remained unchanged. This solved the problem immediately.

Suitable for 2001 Infiniti i30

Installed successfully on 2001 Infiniti i30. Ignore the Subaru name and Revain product link, this product fits perfectly and is oriented correctly. Note that the most common problem with no airflow is an amplifier/resistor, which is NOT included (though usually cheap). So if you get "weird" behavior (e.g., start. there. Be sure to order cabin filters as it's probably time for that and they'll be in place right after the airbox was installed. This fan was only installed today , but appears to be

Perfect replacement

After years of dealing with the fearsome Gremlin who eventually became the focal point of every ride, short or long, I decided to google him. If I had known Revane had such a cheap role. I spent the night with this plug and play replacement and the new one made a "buzzing" noise at any fan speed. I could handle it after coming to terms with how unbearable the old one has become, but I won't lie. I was disappointed. I put sweat in this car. I wanted the sound of air being blown and the sound of…

Hard plastic = cracked during installation

I ordered this to replace an aging original block in my 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback. This unit is identical in form factor to the factory engine, however there are some differences in the materials used. The impeller cone and hose are stiffer than their original counterparts (possibly due to the age of the original parts) and cracked during installation. The hose wasn't too much of a problem because I just reused the OEM. But now I have to pull everything out again because a crack in the…

Great replacement for heater

A few notes on this fan. First, many people said it takes 15 minutes. I'd agree if I've done it before, but most people will be doing it for the first time, so I'd say it's closer to half an hour. It's not difficult at all. You just have to be careful what you unscrew and don't break any of the clips holding the wiring in place. Some of them resolve immediately, while others need to be resolved. I found the swap and reassembly quick because at that point I knew what I was replacing and where…
