Fits well, holds color and shape

I used the same style in a product a few years ago. He's still in good shape. I had to stop thinking I was still in high school and buy a big one, which I ended up doing. The medium is still in good shape - better than me. Big is more comfortable. And it keeps its shape and color.

The landing pad is very small, you must be able to swim

The landing pad is very small, you must be a swimmer. Unless you're one of those skinny people this won't suit you, unfortunately I never took it out of the package before the return date was up so I'm now stuck with something that unless I have bariatric surgery, I will never come to me

Great, one size up was a little big for me

I wear a 31" inseam in very tight garments, but based on reviews I scaled it up and chose a 34" size. They fit well and certainly aren't worth returning, but if I were to order again I'd get 32 inches. The 34" is certainly comfortable with plenty of room, but it just puffs up a bit when I jump in the pool etc, clearly I have too much room.

Pros
  • Sturdy build

  • Unreliable

Tolerates dryer abuse well, works well as a training liner.

I have ordered about 6 pieces in 5 years. I wear them as exercise pads under my silencer suit and toss both suits in the dryer 5 or 6 times a week (which you shouldn't do). This suit is a bit thin and tight for my liking, but these qualities allow it to work well as a balaclava. After about a year, the suture dissolves completely. I always train in two suits as I'm swimming in a public pool and I don't want torn seams to cause a stir. And when you throw your suits in the dryer, the seams tend…

Fits big guys well, holds up well

I'm 6ft 2in, weigh 260lbs and the pools are finally open again! Turns out I needed new suits after 10 months of waiting, so I decided to try this one on. My waist is 39-40 inches, so I have 38 according to the size chart, good choice! If it were larger it would be flexible and sagging, and if it were narrower the material would contract. Pool chlorine is now ready to help people feel safe while swimming and the material is holding up well. With proper care, you will get many hours of it. I've…

Comfortable swimsuit with medium square legs.

I am a fitness swimmer who averages 8,000 to 10,000 meters per week in 4 or 5 strokes. I bought these hoping they would be comfortable and durable. Well, they're certainly comfortable, but after about 100 hours in the pool, they started to fade and stretch. I replaced them with a square leg TYR Durafast Elite suit that claims to be exposed to chlorinated water for many hours. If you're an inexperienced swimmer then that should be fine - if you're a frequent pool swimmer you might be better off…

Nice suit for sport swimming

I have been a swimmer all my life and have competed in the past so I have had a few suits over the years. I was looking for something to swim at my local gym. I hate jammers because they cling to my knees and I was looking for something more modest than briefs. I ordered a size up as I wear them for fitness rather than actual competitive swimming and they fit snug but not tight. One thing I particularly appreciate (and I've never had a suit like this in my 20+ years as a swimmer) is that the…

Great for underwater hockey but not durable or extra strong.

Update: Well I've had this suit for 6 months now and it's been used at the local YMCA pool exactly once a week for exactly 90 minutes. I counted swimming sessions (27), so the total usage time is 40.5 hours. That's a far cry from the 250 hours advertised on the box. It's the only place it's ever been used and it's dying. The stitching on the seat has almost frayed and become translucent, so much so that I'm concerned it might tear during use. I started carrying a spare bathing suit just in…
