Circuit breaker failure within one year

breaker (made in CHINA) broke down at very low load (about 1A) after a year of use. Connecticut Electric Inc. ignored my request for a refund or replacement. Connecticut advertises a 10 year warranty which I have found does not live up to. I ended up replacing all the service with a Square D panel and switches so I didn't have to repeatedly replace Zinsco shotguns.

Terrible and DANGEROUS product. DO NOT USE!

I bought this product thinking it would look like the original it replaces. NOT RIGHT! The gap lasted no more than 5 minutes. I then went back online and was lucky enough to find the original Zinsco 100 amp switch, ordered it, installed it and the problem was solved. After talking to several electricians and other electricity suppliers, it turned out that CE Inc. (Connecticut Electric Inc., made in China) should be avoided if possible as they are completely unreliable and in some casesโ€ฆ

Only half of the switch worked.

I have had several problems with the original Zinsco Breaker 100 amp circuit breaker in my home. I bought this product to have on the shelf for the next crash. When the error occurred and the switch I bought in this deal was installed, only one side worked. So the electrician had to install, remove, find a working, compatible switch, and reinstall it. So don't think I will buy here again. $$$ payout for broken breaker, working breaker and duplicate installation. So buying this product cost meโ€ฆ
