Not waterproof! in Slipcovers and Mattress Covers

I bought these to store two mattresses in our basement. I wrapped them tightly, taped the seams and stored them seam side up. We had low water in the basement during the big storms in the summer and we wiped it down/turned on the dehumidifier. A few weeks later I moved a mattress and found that the bag had soaked up water, the mattress acted like a sponge and was moldy. It was the same with the second mattress. Two mattresses that we hardly used were damaged. What a waste.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Expandable

One size doesn't fit all please see measurements

I have a Sealy Queen cooling foam mattress which I bought to cover, this bag does not fully cover the mattress leaving one end open. Before you buy, be sure to check your mattress dimensions, even if you have a queen-size mattress, you may need a king-size bag. Edit: Changed to 1 star - I originally gave it a 2 but after loading the mattress I used the 2nd of these bags and it doesn't even fully cover the box spring.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Volume

2 mil about the thickness of a sandwich bag

Please note this product is exactly as advertised - 2 mil thick, mattress size and only one bag per pack. The bag is a little longer than necessary, so one material is enough to fold it to cover with tape if necessary. The bag has several holes to allow air to escape. If the holes bother you, you can just cover them with tape. This bag is not useful if you plan to re-handle your bagged mattress as 2 mil is not thick enough to withstand repeated handling of a heavy mattress in such a thin bag…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

What I made is Poly Cover Do.

I moved from Charleston, South Carolina to Roanoke, Virginia. The mattress was packed in threes. The next step was to roll up my mattress and tape it up like a small dumpling (it's a Casper mattress and I called him to confirm everything was fine). We then had to go down TWO flights of stairs, through the parking lot and into a tiny U-Pack. We made it. Six weeks later, the U-Pack was opened, the mattress removed, carried across a different parking lot, and then up two more flights of stairs…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Too stupid

You get a little less than what you pay for

This should definitely only be used for moving.1. Plastic is structurally weak. It feels thick until you drag it onto the mattress and it starts to tear. (Yes, I bought the right size, and no, I wasn't a caveman to put it on. 2. It doesn't cover your entire mattress. (See photo) I have a standard queen size memory foam , except you can see the picture. Completely close! You have to tape it and it will damage the mattress. 3. Waterproof - it can be! is terrible. Don't plan on putting this on and

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Excellent Mattress Pad / But!

Pros This is a great product. I have a new Nectar Queen mattress and have moved into my apartment complex with you. I didn't want the mattress to get dirty. This product is made of high-quality plastic and forms a pocket that you can place on the mattress from top to bottom. The best part is that I was able to leave two sheets and a comforter, pillows on the bed and zip it up and ask the movers to move it. And it was so easy to get rid of the best. That it can be repurposed. I'm currently using
