The only marker I use to write on wood!

I am a professional calligrapher and these are the best wooden pens I have come across. They have excellent color and texture, are consistent and there is a lot of color in one marker.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • High Price

Was very disappointed.

Too liquid. I expected the paint to dry quickly, but it was like taking fresh, water-based paint and smearing it onto the paper. I think because it was so thin its chiseled tip didn't really help with precise lines. Was very disappointed.

Pros
  • availability
Cons
  • sad packaging

A little watery but good

It's a little watery but still seems to work well enough for what I wanted to do with it which is to use as a backwash for my shrink projects. I wish it was a little thicker or at least less streaky. You need to layer it a few times to make it look right and truly opaque.

Pros
  • Available in white
Cons
  • I don't remember

works well. I'm not sure if there are many.

works well. I'm not sure how much ink is in here or how long it will last, but it worked for what I bought it for. I went over the painting on the canvas with a permanent marker to lighten it. Be careful trying to fill the ink while clicking and click the trims so you don't mess up your project.

Pros
  • Great for wood, plaster statues, foam products, walls, paper crafts and terracotta
Cons
  • The concise guide

Of course there is a learning curve

I have never used an acrylic marker before, but I have used many different materials in my art. It looked like a chalk marker, but at least with chalk markers you can erase your mistakes pretty easily. Overall it was very messy and I personally don't like it, but after some practice it really helped. I used it for a wood project and regular markers soak into the texture of the wood so I figured a paint marker would be perfect. If you press too hard, it will bleed. I barely had to touch the wood

Pros
  • Features 3-sided chisel tip for thick and thin lines
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.
