Allows two computers with one connection

I have a two computer signal monitor and I can switch the active computer just by connecting the active SVGA cable. Less expensive than an additional monitor and takes up much less space on my desk.

Won't connect to another cable

Unable to make a reliable connection when connecting to a standard VGA cable. As others have said it is screw to screw. You can remove the screws from a standard VGA cable, but the screws on this particular cable are so short that they don't reach the screw terminals on the standard cable. Giving back mine because of insecurity doesn't suit me.

Well done, arrived on time

This is a great product, arrived on time, two days from Prime. As it turned out, it wasn't the right cable for my needs. I had to return it as it didn't work for my application. Rest assured, if this is the cable you need, it will work just fine.

Logitech Z625 THX Sound 2.1 speaker system

Good quality cable but not compatible with my Logitech Z625 THX Sound 2.1 speaker system. Purchased Amphenol CS-DSDHD15MF0-005 15 Pin HD15 Deluxe D-Sub Cable Shielded Male/Female 5ft Gray from Revain and this one works fine.

Poor design for use as an extension cord

I was expecting this to include everything needed to actually extend an existing cord but whilst the cord connection alone will do this the screw connections are useless as you will end up with a suitable one screw received . I was able to use it by removing the screws from the end that connected to the existing cable as well as removing the screws from the existing cable itself and then securing the connection by threading zip ties through the screw holes on each side. While this method…

Just doesn't work

I'm a smart engineer so I know what I'm doing. That being said, this cord just won't work if there are other extension cords of the same type and different brand. There is simply no connection between the two ends. As far as I know it can even be filled with sand. Mine may be "faulty", but I've never heard of "faulty" cables. Completely unacceptable. If this works for someone, I would ask if it really works at an optimal level. Seriously, just avoid it or risk getting "failed" or something with

Destroyed my $200 Corsair speakers

I bought a VGA extension cable for use with my Corsair SP2500 speakers that uses a VGA connector for the control box. I connected this cable to extend the control box (as recommended by Corsair) and the speakers didn't turn on. Even connecting the control unit without an extension cable does not help. THIS CABLE IS DESTROYING MY $200 speakers and it's just a very expensive piece of art sitting on my desk! The most likely culprit is ESD from manufacturing or damaged internal wiring that caused a

Does not work with Logitech speaker system!

This is a 15 pin connector but not all pins are wired. It may work fine as a VGA/SVGA cable, but I bought this to extend a 15-pin cable in a Logitech sound system that requires all pins to be wired. If you're buying for this purpose don't, for other purposes it might be ok. I also noticed, as in the photo, that the female end of the connector has threaded terminal studs, which if you connect the connector to extend the cable, the end will require a threaded terminal stud socket. There may be…
