Almost equal to a Leki

I own a Leki with the grip handle and have had it for years. It is the Mercedes of all walking sticks, imo; however, this compares highly with that Leki. The grip is a bit thicker than I had anticipated but still comfortable (I actually flip it around to face in the opposite direction). The adjustments are easy to lock and I've noticed no slippage. It certainly hasn't given way on me at all. The titanium tip is always a life saver on ice and the snow basket will also come in handy if one lives…

Pros
  • very safe
Cons

I have multiple canes, this is a favorite.

I am roughly 210 lbs at 5'8". I could adjust this quickly and easily for use as a cane. Unlike some of similar style, the adjustments when tightened, stay set. Looks good, impression is of anodized aluminum in appearance. Cork handle appears to be compressed and sealed. Very pleased with purchase. May get a second matching one to allow use as walking stick set as well.

Pros
  • The cork is very positive grip make the walking stick very stable.
Cons
  • No fue de mi agrado, a la persona que se lo regale no le fue util

Shoulder feeling so much better

I am new to using a cane and have been using the one from the pharmacy, solid wood and clunky. Shoulder and wrist have been aching. My sister suggested this type with the shock absorber. Have been using it for a week now and it works wonderful and I had to tell my sister that she was right. The price is great too and I am ordering 2 more. One for by the front door for walking the dog and one to leave in my car.

Pros
  • Bought for my spouse and she loved it.
Cons
  • It doesn’t collapse as nicely as I thought it would and it’s too wobbly

Rammer Tips worn through after 4 hours of use

Overall a little on the chincy side for how much they cost. Mainly, the rubber tips worn through after only maximum of 4 hours use. Luckily I was able to find replacement tips in the meantime of finding a replacement and getting a refund. Not too pleased.

Pros
  • great
Cons
  • Can be difficult to get the height adjusted correctly

It is too short for my needs.

It is too short for my needs. The stick needs to be at least 53 inches. I have never seen one of these or ordered one. A 5 Ft. tree planting stake worked well one time when another hiking stick was left in a cab as it didn't fit in the duffel bag. I'll mark any new one with name and address. It seems the weight might be a bit too light for my use and may be too light to be sturdy enough to really LEAN on. I use a walking stick for a third leg for quick speed, standing photo stability with up to

Pros
  • The Ultralight Trekking Pole is designed to provide maximum support and stability for all your hiking and trekking adventures. With its anti-shock feature, it reduces the impact of hard surfaces on your body, allowing you to walk for longer periods of time without experiencing any discomfort or pain
Cons
  • May not be able to handle extreme weather conditions

Great for rough terrain

I live on a farm and love to walk the pastures and woods, but the ground is rocky and uneven. In my 70s and my knees, back and balance aren't what they used to be. I feel very comfortable walking with 2 trekking poles.

Pros
  • Great product at very reasonable price point.
Cons
  • very cheap tip

Change in handle to smaller grip-not so comfortable now!

Original title was: Sturdy and serviceable, now my favorite! But.Update 10/28/21 The seller had Walmart send me two used canes that were returned, in an effort to find one that might have the larger cork handle, but both were the same as the one I returned because of the grip size change. Again, the seller says he or the factory did not change the dimensions, so maybe I got a one-off when I got the larger handle that I really liked. The seller also said that they were changing factories to…

Pros
  • ‎Cork
Cons
  • May require periodic tightening of the locking mechanism

Bends very easily on my review.

This is not a very stable walking stick. With very little pressure on the stick, you can see it bending. The only thing I like about this stick is the handle. I will not use this for safety reasons.

Pros
  • Nice easy to use locks in place easily
Cons
  • Anti-shock mechanism may not work as well as expected

Great cane for a great price!

My husband has had a half dozen of the Komperdell walking sticks that he loved.they have been discontinued.and these seem to be a very suitable replacement !

Pros
  • Nice works as expected
Cons
  • Stroke,Aphiasa, Leg,arm right, Collapse cane, bye bye

Great Cane Great Price

I use two of these canes and they steady my walk. I had polio as a kid (anybody every hear of polio!?), and my right leg is weak. These enable me to walk further and safer. For years I purchased only Komperdell canes, which are almost 3 times more expense, and these are comparable. They are completely adjustable, and can be shortened for packing into a suitcase. I use mine on land, so the variety of tips is very useful. For extra traction, I put a larger rubber tip on the bottom, but used them…

Pros
  • Well made
Cons
  • Can be awkward to maneuver in tight spaces

Mostly alright for my opinion

I like the spring shock absorber. It does make a difference. The handle is too small though. My whole hand doesn't fit around it so the pointed tip pokes into my pinky when I put my hand around it. Also, I think the base attachment for regular flat surfaces should be wider. I don't feel that the small diameter of the one included provides enough sturdiness. It wobbles more than the larger based generic canes you can find at local stores.

Pros
  • Two work perfectly as walking poles for me. Should last a long time.
Cons
  • May need to purchase separate accessories for snowy terrain

Nicely made, pleased with my purchase

The walking stick seems to be well made. It is adjustable continuously, so you can make it just the right length. The cork hand grips are comfortable. I did have some trouble in learning how to be assured that the length was firmly locked. You rotate the sections in one direction to free them and the opposite to lock them. If you don’t turn them tight enough, they will collapse when you put weight on them. There is no click stop like you find on cheap drugstore canes. I purchased two of these…

Pros
  • Aviation grade aluminum alloy to make the Poles Strongest & Lightest, only 7.8 oz or LESS THAN a pound. Anti-shock material!
Cons
  • May not fold down small enough for minimalist hikers

These lightweight canes are efficient and work well.

A pair of canes is much safer than a single cane alone. This lightweight pair is easily adjusted and sturdy enough to trust completely. The curved handle design is particularly helpful when rising from a chair or other seated position.

Pros
  • Our poles also include tungsten carbide tips and adjustable wrist straps. tip kit includes: snow basket, boots, small rubber feet
Cons
  • May not work as well for people with joint issues

Flimsy, Not Suitable as a Cane

I bought this "walking stick" because I needed a telescoping cane that I could collapse when flying and expand before getting off the plane. It does not work for that purpose. Although it is telescopic, each segment has to be locked in place, so it cannot be quickly expanded and collapsed. The pole is also not very strong, half the width of a typical cane, and the foot is tiny. It might work for hiking, maybe, but not as a cane.On the other hand, it is relatively inexpensive. It is also thin…

Pros
  • The trekking pole folds up small enough to fit in a carry-on.
Cons
  • May not hold up to daily use over extended periods

Rubber Bottom Slip-on Tip Is Too Soft

Nice quality hiking cane. Hand grip is comfortable. It is easy to adjust the length to your needs. The rubber tip for use on sand and gravel is way too too soft. After 30 minutes of use the steel tip on the bottom of the cane poked through the bottom of the rubber tip. I bought replacement rubber tips from a different vendor that are stronger and have a steel washer on the bottom, which solved the problem with the original rubber tip.

Pros
  • ‎110 Centimeters
Cons
  • May not fit in some backpack pockets

Attractive and handy

I got this cane with the spike so I can walk on top of frozen lakes and rivers. They're glare ice, and though I wear cleats, it's really easy to lose your purchase and fall hard. So this cane has helped with my confidence and allows me to walk at a brisk pace.PLUS it's good looking with the cork handle! After finding the perfect height, i really tightened the joints. It's good to know it's collapsible in case i need to take it traveling. The price is very reasonable for what you get.

Pros
  • ‎Trekingpoles-black
Cons
  • May not work well for people who suffer from balance issues

BAIT and SWITCH? best in my review

This cane appears to be what I wanted--just not what I ordered. The site features TWO canes, plus additional tips. This cane appeared to be what I wanted, and what I THOUGHT I had ordered. The site clearly depicts TWO canes, plus several additional tips that can be switched out.The text refers to the canes in the plural number;all references in the text have the plural "s".The checkout site for amount ordered has a "1"--my assumption was that it meant what was shown in the ad: ONE set of TWO…

Pros
  • Outdoor Recreation
Cons
  • May not be suitable for steep inclines

Very compact, easy to use.

Overall impressed with this cane. It is fairly compact when collapsed, it is easy to extend. My only complaint is that it could have been made a little sturdier. I weigh about 240, and at 6 foot the cane easily fits me. The shock absorber function works well and takes most of the strain off joints and muscles. When looking at the cane there is a flex at the lower end while placing weight on the cane. The tip is easily replaced and replacement tips are very reasonably priced. Again if it was a…

Pros
  • Trekking Poles
Cons
  • May not perform well on slick surfaces such as ice

I weigh 360 (NOW 375) and it has held up fine.

(UPDATE AUGUST 7 2020, 6 MONTHS OWNED). Had it now over a month. Works great. I weigh 360 (WEIGH 375 NOW) with bad hips and knees so it gets alot of weight on it and holds well. I am sure I am pushing it to it's very limit and probably not recommended for my weight but I love it. Happy I found it. THIS THING IS OPERATING ABOVE EXPECTATIONS. EVEN AFTER ALL THIS TIME IT STILL LOOSENS, ADJUSTS AND TIGHTENS BACK TO SOLID AS A ROCK. I THINK I FOUND A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH HERE.

Pros
  • ‎260 Grams
Cons
  • The tungsten tips can wear down quickly on hard terrain

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Lacks Sturdiness for my opinion

I have movement disorder that affects my balance. I am 6’4”, so need to extend pole, but we’ll within the maximum length. While tall, I only weigh 175. I didn’t feel safe using this product as it wobbled and felt as though it might collapse if my full weight was on it.I returned the product immediately

Pros
  • As good as my Lexi, great for daily cane
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with a height under 5'6'
