Product Dimensions: Dispensing Boxes

Overall this is a good box for the money. However, the product measurements given in the product description are misleading. The box it comes in is the same size. Actually: 3 1/2" W x 6 1/2" D x 3" D.

Pros
  • Solid Construction
Cons
  • Not Sure

The perfect finishing touch for my outlet

Perfect for preventing my big snappy kids or other guests from unplugging my camera cord. I bought a key with a lock for this plug on the socket. Now no one but me can unplug my security camera🤗

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

waterproof cover for patio socket

I don't know how to check the waterproof socket. I will not pour water on it and then connect something. Just make sure most of the water doesn't drip onto the outlet when it rains. The product is durable. I have a blocking function but it's not very good because it's difficult to attach to the wall.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

I think I need to make changes to this box

This box took an hour and a half to install and had to be modified to work on an outlet. I've tried two different types of sockets, gfi and normal, and neither of them fit. I had to take a dremel saw and cut a bigger hole. The terminal screws did not go through and the ground terminal screw did not go through. then I struggled to keep the hinged door open while screwing on the outlet and waterproof outlet cover. Some boxes have a spot for the door to come loose but not this one and it was in…

Reliable outlet cover at a good price

I installed string lights in my garden and wanted an outlet cover that would allow me to keep them plugged into a smart outlet. This article made the score. It's big enough that the thick cord can be conveniently plugged in and bent, leaving room to plug something into a second outlet if you so desire.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons

Really well designed and easy to install

The box is very deep which allowed me to insert the extension and close the lid. It was also very easy to install as it comes with waterproof foam with a sticky back so you can attach it to the box and then screw it into an outlet. Works great with an outdoor GFCI outlet and I was able to install it in minutes. . Comes with 8 screws or so.

Pros
  • Socket Boxes
Cons
  • Doubtful

Plastic cover TOO SMALL for 2 plugs

rec'd fastelectric Installed in less than 2 minutes. Cover is too small for 2 plugs. ONLY 1 connector can be used. TOO NARROW for 1 connector. The cable bends to the hole at the bottom. ELECTRICIAN highly recommends going back and finding another one that can take 2 outer plugs and finding a plastic cover that does bend the cables into an "L" shape " up to the hole at the bottom NOT ENOUGH SPACE in the plastic cover as the design ONLY allows 1 connector. NEED 1/2" more space to use 2 plugs

Pros
  • Electrical Boxes, Wires and Fittings
Cons
  • Off the fashion
