Worked well for sending a reptile to Wisconsin in the winter, although the package was lost. The reptile survived and I believe that and the shipping container. Overall very impressed.

I use them on my bearded dragons when I need to take them on vacation. They reach a decent temperature, but I haven't had one that lasts the full 30 hours. I would say they can hold me about 16 or so.

Use this to travel from Florida to Ohio in our ball python. We're going straight, so we only need 1 on the way up and one on the way down! We always stop 3 or 4 times to check it out but are always very happy with it! Works perfect for him!

We got them to keep the bearded dragons warm in the tank outside at the parade. We prepared for this by packing them up early and using 8 of them in a 20 gallon tank and all 8 barely got hot. The grabbar hand warmers you buy to put in your gloves are much warmer. We should have used them.

No! I opened one and waited, then another, and another. I took out my digital temp gun and none of them reached 100 degrees. I opened them all up thinking maybe I only had a bad one or two but none of them work. None stayed "warm" even for 30 hours. None were above room temperature after 24 hours. They get hard and cold between 4pm and 6pm. I wouldn't send them anything.

As a reptile breeder I use these bags to transport reptiles this time of year. They warm, but not too much, and stay warm so the kites sent out are still comfortable when they get to my client early the next morning. Never use more than one in a box, and it's best not to ship at all when the lows fall below zero. You never know when FEDEX will mess up a shipment. Thanks to these heating pads I have not lost a single animal to the cold.
