Old Molex power connector, noisy fans and PWM function didn't work.

Uses a 4-pin Molex power connector instead of SATA. And it is not mentioned anywhere on the product page or shown in the pictures. Pretty annoying as most builds with a modular PSU don't add a 4 pin molex cable as it's no longer used and takes up a lot of space. LEDs around the outer ring. They still look nice and shine bright enough for their purpose. The LED animation in rainbow mode is quite choppy, it doesn't look smooth or very pleasant. The noise level at full speed is quite audible…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

These fans caught fire

Attention! Don't buy this! I installed this on my new computer and the whole controller caught fire. Luckily our house didn't catch fire while we were working on the cement floor in the basement. I'm concerned it may have swallowed the whole house and possibly injured someone in the house. This is a horrible story and you should avoid this brand and these fans.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • old

To be honest the instructions are a bit vague especially the part about connecting to the "CPU fan" header lol but once you understand what's going on it just works and works great. Select the PWM fan channel on your board, connect it to the controller and also to the 5V argb header, then connect all fans, connect SATA, done. I know the instructions say to hold down the button to sync to the motherboard, but I think it's just a matter of going into "just do what the argb input says" mode return

Unreliable Very noisy Customer service is questionable.

Bought a set of 3 fans with addressable RGB lighting. Right out of the box, one fan made a very loud grinding noise for about 5 minutes, and then you could tap it and let it run quietly. Customer service said they hadn't sold a fan and I would have to either send the entire set back and wait for inspection or they could refund a few bucks. 2 months later. All 3 fans are very loud, do not squeak or rotate. RGB control works but keeps losing sync and settings. Wouldn't buy again.

Seemingly great price, decent airflow, but problems after a few months.

. So I've been waiting to write this review because it's a mechanical part. I bought these fans about 3 months ago and the installation was painless. There is no airflow marking on the fans, but usually the logo shows the direction of airflow and these fans follow it. The RGB color is consistent and very fan friendly. Color transitions look great. The fans themselves are quite quiet during operation. Pay attention to the "when" part. However, one of my fans accidentally fell completely out of…

Faulty or due to construction?

These fans were amazing until I tried adjusting the speed. The PWM function does not work. My motherboard detects the fan speed but cannot control the speed. No setting will slow down the fans below 1800 rpm. I've used some downshift adapters I had, but the fans now run at 1500RPM. However, the reset/color cycle switch doesn't always work. However, I use MSI's color management software, so I chose not to use the switch. Overall great value for money, great fans, but the hub I got sucks.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Frequency

If you want cheap this might be an option. maybe

These are decent fans, albeit very, very loud at full speed. I bought them for the price. My case has 12 fans, 9 of which are RGB. However, I will not spend $250 on famous brand fans. However, they do not sync with my Gigabyte mobile device, the mobile device is blue and the UpHere fans are green. You can change them manually but it's a guessing game because the computer says they're set to blue but they turn green, or the computer says they're set to red and they turn blue. You just have to…

  • worth the money

They do the job: Computers and accessories

To be honest I wouldn't use these types of RGB fans (which come with a separate controller) if I were to use the motherboard RGB controller want to use provided by the boards like ASUS and Gigabyte. They WILL work, but I've found that sometimes they come to their senses and start doing what they want. I would use a brand that ONLY comes with fans and cables and is FULLY controlled by the motherboard RGB controller. Deep Cool makes some things I love work this way. It's ok if you want to play…

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • No paint required

The hub controller is rubbish

If you plan on using them for more than the 3 fans that come with the kit, don't worry. The aRGB/fan control is absolute junk. They don't have controller specs or recommendations. There is no website to search for anything. The hub controllers have 7 ports for fans and argb and 3 of the hub controllers are burned out for me. Part of the fan still worked, but aRGB blew on 3 sets of controllers. With 6 of their fans and 1 aRGB LED strip. Since they didn't have any others in stock the only option…
