Our basement has a partial subsoil from which odors come due to an improperly installed plastic barrier. The edges have moved away from the wall. We laid down another sheet of plastic and used vapor barrier tape to secure the plastic to the cement wall. The ribbon is wide, which makes sewing easier and allows you to pull the ribbon in place with a large ribbon. It adheres well to cement. Second day and no smell. We definitely recommend it.

This product was used in our scan room project. The tape was not branded on the packaging. no, it's weird. Also, it's been on the seams of our plastic for a little over a week and the tape no longer sticks to 75% of the areas we sealed (and the plastic was very clean before application). Thickness is questionable, I have 4 mil bin liners that appear to be thicker than this tape. If you are thinking about ordering this for your crawlspace project I would look at other products.

I'm laying a vapor barrier underground and have ordered a variety of tapes from Revain. This is moose from Shopwalla. This is the only time I have seen an Elk logo advertisement on the box and when you receive the band there is no Elk logo on the band. There are also no specs on the tape or packaging.
