The properties of a real mailbox are excellent. Good size as a viewing window. It's not that someone can't come in if they want, but they can't just go and just pick up the mail. Unless you have a very smart postman who never puts large flyers and junk mail in the bottom slot. There was a mail slot in the old door of my house. When replacing this door I decided to ditch the mailbox and add a mailbox. I found this one very quickly and loved it as it fits the aesthetic of my home very well. The exterior of my house is brick.
