I believe they will perform excellently in each of the years listed. We mistakenly bought them for the wrong model year, so we had to return them and order a new model year. The return process was seamless and we received a credit very quickly after sending it to our local UPS shop. The replacements work great so I think they will be very similar for their respective release years.

Love it! They are perfect for storing my lip balm, loose change or extra dog poo. Initially I had a problem with the installation as each part fitted a specific door and would not work when switched. I don't know why that is, but when fitted to the correct door, they fit perfectly. They move a little as they close the door, but I don't mind. I wish the Explorer had covered handles but I like that they can be removed and washed.

Read other reviews where some are confused as to how to install on the correct side and once installed it will be on top. I haven't found any of this. There are no instructions on the packaging, but if you look at the insert and the door, it's clear what goes where. When I pushed it all the way in, I found that it stayed in place with no movement. I was so excited to see this product was available for my 2017 Ford Explorer. I got even more excited when I read product reviews that said installation was easy, difficult, and looked OEM.
