Overall a great monitor! I mainly use it for multiple screens on my MacBook Pro. I originally bought a non-curved monitor and found that having a curved monitor is much better. Luckily the one I originally bought turned out to be defective and I ended up buying this one and never looking back. I love that I can plug it into my USB-C and it also charges my laptop so I only have to connect one cable.

I replaced an old Dell with this ViewSonic which I'm generally very happy with. The panel could be a bit brighter, but it has a very useful feature for me - I have two computers connected to it, and when I sleep one and wake the other, it automatically switches inputs. Not rocket science, but much nicer than fumbling around with the OSD to switch.

Pros: Strong mount with easy pan, tilt and lift. Good. Cons: Price, somewhat washed out colors, and while others have said there weren't many speakers, I have to disagree. You hear almost nothing when everything is set to maximum, both in your computer software and in the monitor itself. I'd say if you think the speakers are good enough for listening to phone messages etc, then they aren't. I'm not sure why they even put them in if at least you can't.

I bought one of these before using it and it worked amazingly. They seem very durable and can switch to landscape or portrait mode. Unfortunately the one I received had a broken screen and couldn't be used at all. When I returned for a refund I didn't want to try to get another one because they are packaged in such a way that the glass part of the monitor is packed at the bottom of the box and anything hitting the side could damage them. Image quality is lower than most standard monitors and grainy. The buttons don't have labels, so you'll have to guess or read the manual to use them. It loses connection to the HDMI input and turns black. If the screen goes black even though it's on, you can't see the menu options when you press the keys, so you can't see what you're doing when you try to change the inputs. I have worked with many monitor brands over the years. This is the worst thing I've ever seen.

Image quality and ease of setup were excellent. Very impressed with this monitor. The only problem I have is switching between two input sources. It is used for my wife's desktop and my work laptop. Can't switch between them. Every time I tell it to change, it reverts to the original input. I had to completely unhook the laptop to turn it back into a desktop device. Otherwise it's 5.

Everything was pretty good for the first few months, but recently it started flickering heavily on startup for 5 minutes and then intermittently flickering during normal use. It doesn't happen on my Windows laptop, but it's really annoying on my m1.

I don't know why some monitors get migraines and others don't. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the monitors that was giving me a migraine. I've been messing around with all the settings and adjusting the brightness, contrast, etc doesn't help. After sitting in front of him for an hour, my eyes hurt and I felt terrible. This monitor is perfect for my PlayStation 4, the picture is fantastic! Also works well in my multi-monitor PC setup. The ability to adjust the height of the monitor instead of my chair is very underrated. The tilt function of the monitor is also excellent, very useful when reading comics.
