Bought this LCD monitor for use with multiple devices: analog was connected to a PowerMac G5; DVI was connected to my Dell laptop. I bought this monitor for my new MacBook. It's the same size and resolution as Apple's 20-inch display for half the price. It works great (although the Mac refused to work at the original 1680x1050 resolution on the first try. But a reboot fixed it).

The viewing angle, while wide, is narrow if you need precision when editing photos. There is a slight color change on the screen. This is because the color changes depending on the angle you look at the screen. Many AGP video cards don't support this resolution and it's hard to know until you try. Most PCIe graphics cards will do this. I also used LaCie 319 and 321 which are better suited for digital photography. This display is suitable for less critical color work.

This is an excellent monitor. I have been using Viewsonic at work for 6 years and have never had a problem. That's why I decided to buy Viewsonic for home use. This is the second Viewsonic I've bought for home use. Both have beautiful color and clarity! I was impressed with the packaging and delivery from Revain. I've had this monitor for about 2 years now. At first everything was fine, but after about a year my DVI connector broke (ie the signal through the monitor's DVI connector is not recognized).
