I have a computer desk with a metal back. I chose this monitor stand because of the desk clamp, but it turned out that the edge of my desk wasn't deep enough to attach the clamp, so I ended up with a flat desk stand for home remedies. At the time of purchase this was the CHEAPEST quad monitor stand at $68.89. Yes, it cuts corners, but nothing detracts from its functionality.
