PROS:- very easy to cut the excessive foam to cut it to my own shoe size (scissors work fine)- has tab in back to help pull out insert from shoe (but it's hard to insert it or pull it out even with this tab because my shoes are very tight and these inserts are rock hard)- remote is easy to operate. but it doesn't turn the insoles "ON", only off and regulates 3 heating modesCONS:- every time I want to use the insert, I have to take them out of the shoes to turn the ON button on; I cannot do this

quite sad about this product. for one, it didnt really heat up my shoes that was noticeable. the second issue about it was that you need the remote to hopefully work while you are wearing them or you will have to take off your shoe to check.The idea was nice, but for my usage it didn't add any value to my current setup and was actually annoying product to use.1/5 stars

I love the concept of these heated soles but they only seem to heat mostly the mid area of my feat near the ball of my big toe. They do still provide enough heat within my boot to keep my feet warm during use so they are effective but for added comfort I wish the heating elements were more even distributed throughout the entire sole. I ordered these heated insoles for my husband who walks our kids to school in below freezing temps most mornings.What's nice is they easily fit in his boots or sneakers. He's a size 13 shoe and they still fit.He is able to control them by clicking on and off with the keychain remote. They are rechargable, charge quickly and come with the cable needed.He loves everything about them except for the fact that they take time to warm up. Not having a lot of luck with these feet warmers. Plugged them in to charge yesterday. Was a little shocked that they say 5-6 hours to charge. I assume they were shipped with some charge as they were ready within a couple of hours. (according to the blue light that came on). Because the switch is SO tiny and almost impossible to reach up under the protective tab, I opted to try the remote. It seemed to be already paired and within a few moments I could feel heat. on ONE sole, but not the other.

As insults go they are pretty comfortable. I just didn't find that they put off much noticeable heat. The heat only seems to be just behind the toes and i can only feel it when I press down hard. The size chart was a little off It only goes up to a size 12 that worked for me fit my boots perfectly. The remote works perfectly. They would be great if I could feel the heat on any level. I have tried them in hiking boots and in hevy insulated hunting boots.

They get very warm but only in the ball of foot area. The are thicker than i expected and didn't fit in my sneakers. I will try to fit them in my winter boots since they warm up so well. The three heat levels are nice to have. The toe part of the sole is trimmable to fit your size.

I do a lot of security work at doors, whether outside completely, or just inside where the chill still comes through. My feet are perpetually cold, but these have made all the difference! They’re very easy to cut to size as well, unlike some other insoles I’ve encountered.
