DO NOT BUY - I'm experienced

Absolutely the worst film I've ever used. I am so disappointed because I have used Vivid Wraps several times and have never had such an experience. Vinyl is so ridiculously sticky it's impossible to move it without tearing! The paper literally peeled off the back. This stuff is stickier and doesn't heat up at all than any other foil I've used ever after curing. I hope (and suspect) the tape was saved incorrectly, I love Vvivid but that sucks.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Minor issues

Difficult to work with but it can work

I would like to know what Vivivid Sorcery suggests to apply this film to your vehicle. Maybe it's because I was new to the packaging, but it's difficult to work with. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with little knowledge of packaging and vinyl. I've spent quite a bit of time learning installation methods and tips, and yet I found it very difficult to work with. Maybe only good for the roof or hood, but personally I wouldn't do the whole car in vivvid again.

  • Sturdy construction

Harder than Avery or 3M...

This film is thicker than Avery and 3M so installation can be a little tricky. It's almost too sticky so I recommend you use something like Rapid Tac spray on the surfaces. It's also very thick compared to others so it's not as easy to contour and you have to use more heat to wrap corners and edges and such. .For an experienced wrapper, this isn't necessarily a huge problem, but this stuff can be a little tricky to handle for a beginner with limited wrapping techniques. First attempt at wrapping. It worked great!

It takes a crazy mind to wrap your own car or truck, but if you're motivated and incredibly patient, the results can be amazing. I've watched a ton of YouTube videos and it looked pretty easy, but when you first start part one you know you have a journey ahead of you. If this is your first time I suggest only doing one panel a day. You need mental rest. I applied in direct sunlight at a temperature of 60-80 degrees. At temperatures above 75 degrees in direct sunlight, the wrap becomes veryโ€ฆ

Easy to work with for the first time

After watching several hours of videos and reading about other people's experiences with bandages, I tried it myself and was very pleased with the results. I had no prior experience with this material and was surprised at how good the ending turned out. Of course, there are small imperfections here and there (little creases), but that's one of those things that only I would notice. For the casual observer, they would think I did a great job! Aside from having the right tools (I'll talk aboutโ€ฆ
