Best Beach Toy In The World

If you're gonna be in warm water where you can hang out for hours this is the toy. Even people who could never be taught to throw a frisbee can have fun with this.

Pros
  • Makes a unique gift for friends and family
Cons
  • Can be dangerous if thrown in crowded areas

Good ball but check size before buy

Just got this and the overall feel is great. It bounces outside of the pool and inside. There are a few issues for me.1. My fault I didn't check the actual size and thought I saw it say 8 inches. So when i get it and not even bigger than a baseball it was a huge letdown. Was searching for basketballs for pool when came across this hence why I bought it.Now need to buy a actual bigger ball.2. It feels sort of heavy. So I can see one of the younger kids hurting each other with it.

Pros
  • Waboba Pro Ball provides more accuracy, more control and more potential for one-handed Bobe catches
Cons
  • Difficult to control the direction of the bounce

Teenage son loves it

Got this for my son - he loves it. He and his friends have a great time throwing it to each other across the pool, bouncing it off the water. He was skeptical at first that it would truly bounce off the water, but it does!

Pros
  • Perfect for beach and pool days
Cons
  • May be affected by chlorine or other pool chemicals

Not what I thought 😩

The picture is very misleading , I thought this ball was as big as a volley ball and for the price I paid it should be ! I didn't even think I received it so put in for a refund and it was denied - thankful that I keep delivery boxes , it was under the brown packing paper that was bundled into one box for my order which is great but I would of thrown it away not even knowing how small this ball was to look for it in there , busy busy lives everything is hurried , need to slow down to look at…

Pros
  • Encourages creativity and imagination while playing
Cons
  • Could damage water features or sculptures

HOURS of Entertainment

We saw some people playing with this thing last summer at the lake. After a couple hours, and a few drinks we mustered up the courage to ask them to give it a try. This thing is amazing! It bounces across the surface of the water with the slightest throw. If you throw it at the water hard, it will bounce super high. I cant even explain it, but this thing is awesome! Highly recommend. Tons of fun. and youll get many laughs out of it.

Pros
  • mens
Cons
  • Prone to damage if left in the sun for long periods

Disappointed Flop on my review.

Because flop is exactly what it did. It did not bounce. Either we have no idea how to use this thing, or we have a dud. My first disappointment was its size. It say 60mm, but I guess I did not pay attention to how small that would be. I was expecting something about the size of a small volley ball. This is the size of a small baseball. Secondly, the material is akin to a squishy ball, just like the many I already own, many purchase from the local dollar stores for one dollar. Thirdly, when we…

Pros
  • Provides a workout for the whole body
Cons
  • May affect fish or other marine life

Ball of Fun: my feedback

Our son lost his Waboba ball we purchased at a $urf $hop. While sitting on the beach, we ordered this new Waboba Ball for LESS than the beach store price and received the next day.

Pros
  • Suitable for both kids and adults
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use by people with poor coordination

It walks on water. good for me

.Waboba aka Beach Jesus. walks on water and is the savior of fun. I have been waboba'ing since bible Jesus was a baby, and trust me it never gets old. Unless you are a complete party terrorist/ocean fun nazi, this is the best darn thing you have ever tried.

Pros
  • Provides hours of entertainment
Cons
  • Can cause damage to pool tiles or lining

Not for beginners! best in my review

It will not skip if you don’t know what you’re doing. There are more appropriate Waboba balls for children That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Multi
Cons
  • Limited color options

Add an extra ball for more pool or field play

Purchased extra balls so the play would not be interrupted if a wild pitch sent one into a dog pen like in the movie "The Sandlot.” Never hurts to have extras.

Pros
  • Waboba
Cons
  • May cause injuries if thrown too hard

Best water toy you can get

This is basically a firm stress ball. Whatever genius discovered that they bounce on water and decided to market these deserves the boatloads of money they are probably raking in right now. Great for a game of catch. Especially when you can get it to hop unexpectedly and nail your buddy in the chest.Everyone that has played catch with this has gone home and bought their own.

Pros
  • Great for team sports and bonding
Cons
  • May be too difficult for some users to catch

Does what is says it does!

This ball is super fun to use in the pool or at the beach. It bounces on the water which makes for some fun games of catch. My kids love it.

Pros
  • Great for relaxing and unwinding after a long day
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in fountains or decorative pools

Great fun! - my new review

Great fun. Works as advertized. Skips great on the water. A lot of fun in the waves. A little small and compact, so you could wind up spending a lot of time chasing it or swimming after it at the beach.

Pros
  • 4.5 x 2.5 x 6 inches
Cons
  • Requires a large enough body of water to use

bouncing on the water

When we first played with it, it didn't really bounce on the water, but then we found it you throw it like skipping stones--it did! Great fun with 10 year old grandson. We played with it on a river beach and you could keep track of it.

Pros
  • Can be played anywhere there's water - beach, pool, lake, river
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in strong currents

Lots of fun for the kids

Kids use it in the pool and at the beach. Skips over the water super fast and floats. They have fun throwing it over the water to each other.

Pros
  • Helps to relieve stress and tension
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in shallow water

Best Beach Toy Ever Invented!

Best beach game ever invented! I have four children and used to carry every concievable toy to the beach. Now all I bring is the Waboba. I read a few reviews concerned about the ball hurting you when it hits you. It comes in fast, so you will most likely get hit, even if you're a gold-glover. But the ball is designed to spread upon impact and it does not hurt at all. (There is one spot on a man's body that you will not want to get hit though.) I have been using this now for 4-years and it has…

Pros
  • Can be used to encourage kids to be more active
Cons
  • Can be difficult to retrieve if thrown too far

Does what it says it does

Bought this ball to use in the ocean. It is slightly smaller than I expected and the dark colors made it hard to spot if the ball got away from me. It has some weight to it so when it comes to rest it usually sinks down before rising back to the top which can also make it hard to spot at first. Product does what it states in the description

Pros
  • Can be used to create unique games and challenges with friends
Cons
  • Could cause damage if thrown indoors

originally awesome best in my review

I love the originality of this ball, as it does actually bounce on water. I would describe it more as skipping on water, even though it can bounce a couple feet off of the water. I love telling my friends about it, and they're like "wait, what? you have a ball that bounces on water?" We've used it in a river, a large pool, the lake, etc. and it has proved itself well. It's amazing how far you can throw it too. Very fun to play catch with. I would highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to pack in a beach bag or suitcase
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all types of water sports

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well, great fun

Some people could pick it up and make it bounce on the water the first time out. I had a bit more trouble but finally got it. This was really fun at the beach. Agree with other reviewers that you need to use it someplace with wide open spaces and not too many people because it can go very far. Would not be good for a pool or crowded beaches. But at a relatively open beach (or even one where the shallow water is reasonably unpopulated) it's great fun.

Pros
  • Increases social interaction and communication while playing with others
Cons
  • Could be affected by the user’s hand size

Quite Possibly the Best Water Toy, Ever

The Waboba is one of the best toys I've ever owned.Sure, it took me about a year before I finally got to use it, but when I finally did get to whip it out it was an instant hit.I brought it to a small pool at my friend's apartment complex and we just skipped it back and forth across the pool (while standing outside of the pool itself). Now, this obviously isn't the best way to use it considering we weren't even in the water.but we still had loads of fun. In fact, after that day 2 of my friends…

Pros
  • Encourages outdoor play and exercise
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some users to throw
