I mainly use them for stranded wire applications. Push-in connectors do not allow the strands to be removed when a change is required - the strand must be cut, which can be a problem with the remaining length, and the old connector must be discarded. For solid copper home wires 14awg-12awg, the preferred connectors are fashion style for cost reasons; unless the connection is likely to change again, in which case Wago's ease of disconnection is worth the cost. I love these things. They provide a good, firm grip on the wires, are fairly easy to use, the length of the strip is molded to a side with some specs and gives a visual indication of how deep the contacts are inside the case. The levers require a lot of force to open and close and they snap which can cause you to lose your footing, get pinched/hit by the lever or scare you half to death.
