Served 3.5 years: Muffler

On 9/5/2006. No problems installing. The inlet came loose and other sections began to fall apart along the welds at the ends. I haven't ridden on salty roads, dirt tracks or anything like that, mostly freewheeling.

I wish this was factory fitted to a truck it's such a good

I was looking through a couple of mufflers on my 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 Diesel and bought molar mufflers that rust or blow up every 110,000 miles. Looks like the last silencer I'll ever need. Very well built. Robust construction. Well done!

Excellent replacement for stock muffler

This is my first review. I just installed this muffler on my 2006 Dodge 5.9 and it was more than I expected. Good sound from the exhaust and very quiet in the cockpit at all speeds. I paired it with a Walker exhaust and two clamps. I'm not a mechanic and this was easy to put on and perfect. I used my saw and grinder to remove the old one.

  • Impressive

quiet in the cabin, especially from 2000 to 3000 rpm

Both ends are bent because the shipper must have dropped them. this is SS I fixed it Cut the pipes off the old muffler and save the MBRP muffler for reuse. Then use a saw to carefully cut open the inside of the pipe to avoid scratching the muffler and pry it out with a tire wrench. used a galvanized steel pipe held inside the muffler end and knocked out the clamp so it could slide back into the pipe. I paired this with the MBRP muffler, which used to be the muffler on the front of the downpipe.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Vulgarity
