Think twice about buying these

. I was so optimistic about this purchase and wanted to believe it would come in handy in my rental. Unfortunately, the Wall Claw couldn't fully penetrate my wall (where there were no studs). When I installed the Wall Claw, one of the screws didn't go in. I ended up pulling out both latches and they left gaping holes in my wall. :( I'm not working on bringing this back.

Always punch the hole first with a Phillips #1 screwdriver

They work great IF you know how to install them. To install one of these anchors, you will need #1 and #2 Phillips screwdrivers and a hammer. VERY IMPORTANT: Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to drill a hole in the drywall where you want to install the anchor. THEN drive the anchor into the wall until it stops. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the screw in the anchor. Regardless of the instructions, do not drive anchors into the wall without drilling a small hole with a #1 Phillips…

I needed to hang some curtain panels and couldn't find studs in the wall where I needed them, so I looked for anchor options. I saw their ads online and decided to give it a try. As long as they work well. I had to use 4 of these in my application. 3 out of 4 fit perfectly and work perfectly.
