They are very strong when installed in my Dewalt metal pick. They are a bit tricky getting in and out. My recommendation: once they show up, leave them alone and they'll be fine. I broke one trying to get it out and take it somewhere else. They're firmly fixed, which is good if you don't need to move them. Once fixed, they will not swing or fall out when the tool hanging from them is removed. I recommend them.

This set is perfect for what I use it for. Remember this is a plastic kit so best not to use it for heavy tools or items like garage pegboards. I used it on a pegboard where I hang my decorations. The hooks are very tight and snap into place. They require two holes at the top and bottom to attach them and it takes a lot of effort to pull them out so they are solid. I use earring and ring holders and they are perfect for this, unlike hooks they slide in and out easily which makes it easy to take
