Great thick blades that work well.

Spare blades, not much to say. The picture is not correct as the replacement blades I received do not have a hole in the middle. Please note that these blades are single-edged: they only have one sharp edge. It would be really nice if both long blades were sharp so you could just flip the blade over and get a new edge and save on buying replacements. Spring. We highly recommend this scraper and we have used many other competing products. Plus, it's made in the USA!

Linoleum on Plywood

If you're going to use rice to remove linoleum from plywood, don't do it. Although the tool is solid, there are some downsides; 1. The angle of the head to the handle forces you to lean forward so it doesn't hit the tree directly.2. The blade is sharp but too thin, when you hit the small clip it will cut the blade.3. If you don't understand the correct angle when using, the subfloor will be torn very badly. I gave it two stars for quality but the design needs a serious overhaul. The handleโ€ฆ

Great for knife blade trick

I use this blade for checking optics - whatever you say. it's the old knife edge trick. If you place a knife edge (commercially KE) over a small light source and set the optical surface under test to reflect back over the source and look at the reflection in KE, you will see the 1st derivative of the optical surface and from the They determine if the optical surface is smooth and then apply the optical Focault test invented in 1858. So I needed a long KE and these scraper blades have workedโ€ฆ

Great for wooden floors

Can't say enough good things about this scraper. The best part for me was that the 5 inch width stayed on one plank of plank flooring without accidentally damaging adjacent planks. If it was a cement floor a wider blade might have helped, but for my purposes it was ideal. I also appreciated their durability. While the blade is sharp enough to pick up paint and tar, it's not overly sharp that it won't cut into the surface. It was also thick so it didn't get bent at the wrong moment. The sameโ€ฆ

  • Safety

This item contains multiple items. My review is for a 4 foot floor scraper with a 4 foot blade (Part/Model #693). I have not used this product as intended but still feel it was extremely useful for the purpose I needed it for and thought I'd write a review in case it might help someone else. I had to shoot down 12 wasps and bee nests the size of melons. . I needed a tool that could get to the nests and give me some distance if wasps and bees were still alive. This scraper worked great forโ€ฆ

WORKS IN SECONDS! - Paint Scraper

Bought the scraper despite my own serious skepticism that it would work - things like that NEVER really seem to WORK as advertised. but IT FOUND IT! in seconds! I removed a strip of Velcro from my bedroom wall facing me that needed to be removed and seemed impossible to remove because it was originally taped to the wall many years ago. I worked on it carefully and deliberately, piece by piece, with what little hand strength I had left (I'm OLD and ill) and 2 dozen strong successive scrapersโ€ฆ
