📻 Pyle PLMRCW1: Water Resistant Smoke Colored Marine Stereo Cover with Flip-up Door & Mounting Gasket - White Review

After we removed a still working non-marine cassette player from our newly purchased 79ft 24 Skipjack, it has only had this cap to keep it covered all these years protection. It was easy to buy the same case to protect the new Bluetooth receiver and I opted for a non-marine deck. Should last for years given the previous cassette deck from 20 years ago. It has protected him perfectly all these years.

The old stereo cover on my boat came loose and wouldn't stay in place when towed, so I found this great little cover to replace. Installation was fairly easy as the replacement was exactly the same size as the original. As I work to fix many small issues I have found that many boat accessories are one size fits all, which is great. Of course, before you just order the parts, you need to make sure they fit.

UPDATE: The device is officially completely broken which is a disappointment. I accept and welcome the opportunity for the sellers to fix this. I wanted to install it on my boat with a new stereo. The cover came quickly as always. The cover looks great and includes everything you need to install. Unfortunately, the door doesn't stay open until the end. In fact, it only opens a little on its own. It seems that the spring used to hold the door open isn't strong enough to hold it open. You get what you pay for (cheap). He was working on my Premier 225 Legend Pontoon boat so the quality was there. The OEM receiver on the boat died and was too small (Premier cut the hole too wide).
