This little pump is rock solid

I've used it three times so far and everything worked perfectly. 5 gallons of water each time, about 36 inches of buoyancy. With my cordless drill, it worked best at medium speed.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • There are nuances

Leaks around the duct under rough installation

The pump started leaking around the duct after a little over a month. I will do another review after contacting the manufacturer as the item is under warranty.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Availability of replacement

Terrible, no suction, fell apart

Excited to open the box, went and bought a new drill, connected the hoses to the pump, pushed the button on the drill a little but the fluid started to clog flow, accelerated the drill a little more and nothing! A piece in the pump broke off and got into the hose. Garbage!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No

Easy to store and serves its purpose.

Worked great for draining a 20 gallon pond. I chose a conventional transfer pump because of its small size. I also hooked it up to a suction nozzle and had no problems. I would not recommend this tool if I need to constantly move a lot of water, but for light use (like wintering a small pond/fountain) I would highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Nothing Here

DO NOT BUY THIS! for rough plumbing work

It worked on the first test. But the first time we used it and tried to pour water into our RV from an airtight container, it didn't work. After the hoses were removed and inspected, a large slug of grease came out of the pump and got stuck at the hose entrance. Luckily it didn't end up in our drinking water tank, otherwise we would have been in serious trouble.

Pros
  • practical article
Cons
  • so far so good
