I wish the top of the burner had been crafted with a better recess to stabilize the reverse flow incense. When trying to place the cones they tend to keep toppling over and even when you get them standing if the cone is turned at all the effect is lost.

Okay I tried to add a picture but it was taking way too long to upload I really like it it's perfectly giftable the only reason I give it a four is because it takes a really long time for the backflow to start and then it doesn't last very long. It almost feels like it takes longer for it to get going then it lasts but I still love it it was a birthday present to myself and I'm very happy with it.

The backflow burner was received on time and intact. It works beautifully as described. The incense, however, smells like ashes. My husband wanted to know if something was burning in the house. I had to throw all of it out. Even the sticks smelled like ashes. Unfortunately, from what I have researched to find pleasant smelling backflow incense, there are none out there that do not have this ash odor as it burns. A lot of the negative reviews mention that the smoke doesn’t flow down like in the pictures. I didn’t have an issue getting the smoke to flow down. It took about a minute and a half or so but it worked. Obviously the pictures are photoshopped so it won’t look like that in reality but I expected that. So, there were a lot of complaints about the backflow not working with a breeze in the room, and I found that to be true, however you need to remember that the "water" is smoke, which is very light, so that is more out of user ignorance than a problem with the design.Now, to the incense. Scent isn’t as regular incense (smells like smoke) but flow is great so long as no air flow (fans,AC,etc.) interferes with it. The burner is awesome! The amount of stuff provided for the money is great and the look is great. Scent was the only downer. Bought other backflow cones but same problem. 😓
