If you purchase this unit you MUST disconnect the inductive charger from the floss after charging is complete (nominally 3-4 hours according to the manual). I have it not done , and the battery failed. Apparently mine is bad. It was originally used (for testing) and then charged until my next trip. After 3 weeks it was dead as the proverbial doornail.
