FAILED - AND THE RETURN WINDOW IS TOO SHORT!

Of course, immediately after the return window was closed, this pump completely stopped working. It has been used to water new plantings along our sea shore for no more than 20-30 minutes about 4-5 days a week (no rainy days) for 5 weeks. We have a mesh cap on the inlet hose to keep debris out of the motor and we have followed all manufacturer instructions to properly prime and use the pump. It overheated and shut down twice; after an hour or more to cool down, it started up again to this day…

Great little pump for heavy plumbing

After Hurricane Harvey I decided I needed a water transfer pump. I used to borrow one to drain our waterbed. This would have come in handy when our pool's motor failed during a hurricane and I was concerned that the gravity drain wouldn't be able to keep up with the rain. It's not submersible, but I could protect it. When it arrived I checked it before putting it away for a rainy day. The case is made of durable chrome-plated bronze. Engine power is enough to remove water, but there is no way…

Works as advertised.

This is a great pump that almost everyone should have just in case. I bought it to pump out a king size waterbed. The instructions were simple, although it said to put a tablespoon of cooking oil in the inlet and outlet ports (a little odd that only a teaspoon of oil would fit in that number). The waterbed empties itself in 90 minutes, no problem. I could speed up the process by using a wider hose, but I have no complaints. I ran 175 feet (!) of hose from the bedroom, down the hall, through the

The pump is good, but I don't have enough water.

I bought this to drain my pool when there is too much rain water. PROS: 1. It's easy to use for almost every need to pump less water.2. Depending on your needs, this can be VERY effective (e.g. emptying an aquarium)3. I like the filter that comes with the kit to attach to the end of the hose. Ideal for use on the pool cover and preventing debris from entering the pump.4. It makes a little noise but it doesn't seem to bother you on the street (I don't know, inside).5. If you have the patience…

FALSE ADVERTISED - NOT AS PICTURED

In 2010 I bought a Wayne PC2 110v portable transfer pump from Revain for $72 plus loose change. It was delivered as shown in the photo still on the Revain website, specifically the CAST BRONZE chrome pump. It also came with a 6" 5000psi heavy duty suction hose with heavy duty brass fittings and the base plate of this pump has four bolt through rubber grommets which when the base is bolted down with any bolts or screws will effectively isolate the vibration. Very small and handy for pumping…
