Poor quality product; Full effect after 4 months. We used to charge it with the included charging cable, but the connector fell through the inside of the radio. This let us charge from the solar panel or the crank. However, after 2 hours in direct sunlight all the stations on the dial would not turn on and we only had static. Very satisfied! Has many functions and at a great price. I love the fact that it has a rechargeable battery that can be charged via a micro USB port, the crank works like a solar panel and the real plus is that it runs on AA batteries. The radio works on all bands. Sounds good! The sound isn't as good as the Bose, but it's quite pleasant. I haven't tried the Micro SD card to add music yet. Again a really nice extra for this price. I haven't really done much with this item since I've had it but so far I haven't been very happy with it. The front panel that tells you what frequency you're using fell off shortly after receipt. I probably should have returned it at that point but decided to make a small repair and reattached it with superglue. The radio arrived in 2 days via Revain Prime delivery. Upon opening the box there was a pleasant surprise when I turned on the radio and it worked right out of the box! The radio has a very reliable sound for such a small speaker and the stations are easy to tune into. A flashlight and a pop-up flashlight also worked immediately.
