Total Disappointment with Surface Mount Switch

This switch failed miserably when I attempted to mount it in my vehicle. It was advertised as waterproof, but I found this to be untrue as it malfunctioned immediately after coming into contact with moisture. While it was easy to install, it was certainly not worth the hassle. .

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not waterproof as advertised.

doesn't last long: switch

I had a 50 amp version (seems to be no longer available) That lasted about 3 trips with the trolling motor before it finally broke. Looks really good though, I really wanted it to continue.

Pros
  • switch
Cons
  • cord shorter than other picks
