This is the best upgrade you can make to your C5. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but it's necessary. I would pay twice as much for it as it is so important and well designed/built. It is deployed and does not need to be attached - anyone can put it on within 3 seconds. Worth a good $50.

Easy installation, takes about 10 seconds. Looks a bit cheap but works. However, actual cup openings should be larger for the larger drinks found in stores for those refueling at pit stops on long trips. Good for a typical bottled water and roadside coffee breaks.

Bought for my husband's 2003 Z06 as he only has 1 very lame cup holder. (Seriously, who came up with such a bad concept?) 😂 Works great and I don't have to hold my drinks anymore! The husband uses very large stainless steel glasses and found a way to modify these coasters with a piece of fabric to hold them in place. These coasters saved our marriage! J/K, but they're cute.

My husband loves this cup holder. When we take a walk in his Corvette, we always have a hard time holding two iced drinks because the console-mounted cup holder gets hot from the heat of the engine. Made for his 2002 Corvette, this cup holder fits perfectly, is so easy to install and saves me from juggling two drinks while trying to enjoy a leisurely Sunday car ride. Easy installation. Lasts only a few seconds. And it goes perfectly with the black interior of my C5 convertible! Looks pretty much like the "factory" you find for aftermarket products. Holds 16-20 oz reliably. plastic bottles (water, soda, etc.) and 16 oz. Stainless steel travel mugs when tapered at the bottom. Large bottles, 30 oz. and above (Water, Gatorade, Powerade, etc.) are not suitable. But even my 2014 Silverado's factory cup holders don't fit bottles that size! I only give 4 stars…

You're paying for great and functional design. I shuddered spending that much money on a piece of plastic but considering you are buying an item that is perfect for the purpose and perfect for a Corvette. I'm rating this as "all" because I'm concerned about a few things about this piece. First, the cup holders are made out of very thin plastic. I can bend the inner cup holder without much pressure, which worries me about durability. 2nd problem - the size of the coaster doesn't quite fit my water bottle.
