💿 Western Digital 500GB 2.5" HDD for PlayStation 3/4 (PS3 Fat, Slim, Super Slim, PS4) Review

Not only did this drive destroy my PS3 Slim, but the drive it was originally installed with also doesn't work. I will never buy a WD drive again or anything else they do, and neither should you.

I bought this for a 12gb 3 games console that didn't come with a hard drive. Installation with the MuchBuy hard drive mounting plate was really easy. I attached the hard drive to the platter and only had to tighten the screw. I didn't have to download any software and it was pretty much plug and play. Western Digital is a brand you can trust, I think it's faster than the standard PS4 HD. It's less noisy. If you want to change the default HD in your PS4 due to some glitch, you can safely buy this HD. The installation is very easy. Just remove the old one, install a new one and turn on the console.

THIS IS NOT A NEW HARD DRIVE! It is used with 120 bad blocks on disk after I tested it. Asking a few bucks less for a used hard drive is not only unethical, it's outright fraud. Moreover, after scanning the hard drive, you can see that it still contains pictures and documents that can be recovered. Selling a drive to the mass market by formatting the data on a Windows computer and then selling it to strangers is not only dangerous, it also leaves people vulnerable to identity theft.

If you are planning to replace your old 60GB hard drive from an old PS3 fat model. This is the disk you need. The old 60GB hard drive is a bit larger than what you get from the seller, but it still fits perfectly. changes, i will update it.
