💡 Westinghouse Lighting 0348400: Powerful 250W Infrared Heat Incandescent R40 Light Bulb - 5000 Hours Long Lasting Performance Review

Arrived on time Packaging was terrible; came in a pimply package mail letter if there is a tear (hairline) how long does it last. As for the pace? .may be warmer because of the brightness? BR40?

This lamp is better than red infrared because it emits white light like traditional lamps. It is very bright and makes the bathroom a little warmer. I wish it was warmer but other than that a good IR lamp.

This lightbulb is great, it takes about a minute before you start to feel warm. It doesn't make any sound, which was a bit strange for me as I'm used to the experience, although I don't see it as a bad thing, just different.

This was purchased to work with the Broan-NuTone 162 Type IC Infrared Ceiling Heater with a lamp and fan - when on the light is very bright and the fan is on strong. It radiates very little heat. Would not recommend this bulb if anyone wants heat in the bathroom. This lamp is very disappointing.

Bought two of these for our bathroom when they arrived the base of one was crumpled so couldn't install it. Got a replacement, installed it but it doesn't work. Decided that 2 out of 3 errors was too many so didn't get a replacement. Then, a few weeks later, the one that worked burned out! Not sure if it was just bad luck but I won't try to buy them again.

It was better than what it replaced! Brighter, warmer and almost 100% better than the ones I had to replace. Searching for a lightbulb online can be a daunting task as you can't always figure out the size from pictures online. Luckily there was a description on the blown bulb page so I was able to find what I was looking for. This one was pretty cheap and shipping was fast. I use them as a popcorn warmer. The warmer bulb is held in a rather tight housing. The lamp gets quite hot, and BEFORE I found these lamps (Westinghouse 03484) I had a terrible time where the base was "stuck" to the socket and the glass part of the bulb came loose from the base when I tried , pulling that burned out lightbulb out of the popcorn.
