These reels are strong and work great. They can definitely be used for heavy duty applications and work great. The wheels have a full 360º range, so you can spin and change direction with ease. My husband bought a set of adjustable weight dumbbells and there are no wheels on the stand. He could attach it to the rack, even with 300 pounds on it. I could even move loads on carpet.

These are really good reels. They were easy to install and roll up with little effort. I used two of these to attach the heavy end to my new smoker grill. It featured wheels at the rear, but only fixed legs at the front. It was difficult and a real pain to move every time I wanted to use it. I cut the legs to the height of the rollers, installed the rollers on short lengths of PVC pipe with a plug and slipped the pipe onto the legs. Now I can take my grill anywhere with minimal fuss.

Used under two metal cabinets. The hardest part was drilling holes in the metal. The installation itself couldn't be simpler, using a 3/4" socket at the top and the included wrench at the bottom. Purchased to replace grilled wheels. Although the threaded part (bar) was supposed to be 1/2 in. by 13, it was more of a metric turn and I felt like I was almost stripping the bar to install it on the lock nut at the base of the grate. hand, but I had to work very hard to fit new rollers. I have used these wheels on some Regency adjustable shelf posts. (This is one of the brands of ubiquitous shelving systems that uses posts with cutouts every inch, plastic grommets to secure the cutouts, and wire shelves that fit over the grommets and press them into the posts for a tight fit.) I bought these to put on my steel workbench so I can move them around easily. Installation was easy enough and they seemed solid for a while. About a month later I pushed the bench into a corner and it collapsed. The rods on the 3 wheels were bent and unusable. After removing them from the welded nuts on the bench legs, I attached retractable casters to the outside of each leg and inserted some leveling legs into the nuts where the wheels were.
