Rubbish, but I knew it was rubbish when I bought it

(I was fully aware of its shortcomings when I bought it). This is a kind of mixed bag, the overall production was good. Handling was good. I didn't have any ridges or anything like that. BUT the technique was sloppy. The big problem EVERYONE is complaining about is how to put it together - there are extra parts in the goodies bag and you'll be scratching your head as to what the INTENT for some of those parts is. Nice update after fix

I had a serious problem with a certain filament clog and this fixed the clog but not the quality issues with that filament. The filament is gripped much tighter by the dual drive than a standard extruder with less distortion, so it doesn't bind as much in the barrel, nozzle, or metal thermal break when you have an all-metal hot end. The higher number of revolutions/steps per millimeter of feed also makes it easier for the stepper motor to work with high pressure. This is a quality upgrade with…

A few pictures will help put it all together

Works better than stock and MUCH less hassle than full gear drives I have. I am so tired of the time and hassle of changing filament with my full gear drives and it loads easily like a stock drive with only two drive wheels. You need to change the electronic steps because the drive is slightly smaller than the stock drive. A slightly smaller diameter is nice as it adds a bit of torque to push the filament through the printer. I have a CR-10 S4 and needed to change the number of extruder steps…
