I was skeptical to buy this because it was less expensive than most of the other flap hats/trapper hats. I am so glad that I took a shot and purchased it. I was very surprised how much I loved this hat! Perfect fit and nice big ear flaps with a lot of great warmth! The material is very high grade. Hat has been perfect after three weeks! Just keeps getting better.I love the fact that the snaps are quality as well. I highly recommend this hat!

In fitted baseball caps and Tilley hats, I buy size 8 or 8+ because I've never found anything bigger. Sometimes they run small and don't fit. I used to just settle for a tight fitting hat. I ordered this hat with noting more then the hope that it might work and be big enough. It is just big enough and like my Tilley hats, it seems to be stretchable to fit very comfortably. This a good cold weather Elmer Fudd hat. It's a little large/bulky, however the drawstring in the rear made adjusting it easy. It's not a show piece, but very functional for cold weather(my ears no longer tolerate cold wind well). I would buy it again if needed.

Don't recall if it cames in sizes, but this one is a little too big for my head with the ears down., which is the main reason to wear it (stay warm). As just a cap (ears pinned up) it fits better, but than seems a little overkill for me. However when it's cold and/or windy out, this is just the ticket.

Item do not seem to be size like other hat. Normally XL hate fit me good and some room left. This one is really nice but XL still tight on me.

Now that I've worn this hat for a few weeks, I'm pretty satisfied with it and recommend it. I wear it when I go hiking and walking. Please note, I live in an area with relatively mild winters - I think the lowest temperature I've worn the hat so far was in the mid to upper 30s. I haven't had a chance to test the hat in a truly cold climate yet. But, it did perform well when it was in the 40s and very windy and clammy. I got to try this hat out this morning, and I love it! I normally wear a baseball-type cap to walk my dogs during the day, as it hides my hair & keeps the sun out of my eyes. However, if it's windy, it might blow off my head, and if it's cold it does nothing to keep my ears warm, so I have to add ear muffs. Today was cold & windy, so on the hat went! It fits perfectly, is snuggly warm, keeps the sun out of my eyes, and hides my bed-head. Great buy for the money!
