These spring loaded bowden tube connectors are much easier to use.

These spring loaded bowden cable connections are much easier to use than the one fitted to my E3D-V6, which has to be pulled (and which almost always slips a bit). They also seem to hold up very tightly.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

If you want your Bowden tube to stay in place, get these.

I *despise* these devices the most. They always fail at the worst possible moment, and instead of a print I get garbage. Maybe they changed my mind. After I installed them and slipped the Bowden tube through them, they were almost permanent. I no longer worry about the handset being idle. It doesn't even flinch when pulled in quickly. Bowden is secured so well I think I could (almost) lift my printer just by holding on to the tube.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Be careful removing tubing from this

I use these on my Ender 3 Pro 3D printer for hot end connections. Attachment by pushing the sleeve in, this is almost impossible with the nozzle on without damaging something as I have had to replace this nozzle twice already due to breaking my teeth pulling the hose without first removing the nozzle. Lesson learned. Overall the fit is good but leaves a noticeable notch where it grips the pipe maybe 2-3 times before a new cut is needed.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I will add later
