I purchased this hat to wear on a beach vacation. I'm very fair-skinned and have to be mindful of the sun, but I want to look stylish as well, and who doesn't love a good hat? The material is soft, it comes with a chin strap attached- I didn't use it that way, I actually stretched the strap over my shoulder and wore the hat like a backpack when I went into stores. It blocked a great amount of sun and covered the back of my neck entirely. I only knocked one point off for comfort in terms of that

PROS: Pretty. Relatively light weight. Good neutral tan color.CONS: I'm in a strong sun area and bought this for sun protection. As the photo shows, light gets through. Thus, it doesn't offer enough protection from the sun. Sun = skin damage & possibly cancer. Also, the elastic works, but isn't super comfortable. It's a pretty hat, but it arrived all folded up, packed tightly in a plastic bag. This created some pretty prominent fold creases in several places on the brim of the hat. I didn't want to steam them out, as I wasn't sure if the hat's material could hold up to steam heat. So instead, I laid it out flat immediately, hoping that the creases would fall out on their own. Not me in picture that's why I painted over her. I bought this hat for a recent trip to Puerto Rico it was nice held up to the rain some. Smaller the pictured. Easy to carry did fold up well and attached to my bag would recommend for someone looking for something light weight.

I love this hat its super cute, but i do not own an iron and the creases dont come out otherwise. Its kind of annoying. Thanks for attention.

I bought two. The all beige, and the beige and black ribbon. I love the color of the beige and black ribbon. But it’s just way too big ! And this is coming from someone who is not afraid of wearing big, wide brimmed hats. My friends even make fun of me for it. I do love that it was comfortable for my big head. But the brim is just too wide, and looks rather silly on me. Sadly, I’ll have to return.

It came wrinkled of course because of how it’s folded and at first I started steaming it out. But that took FOREVER so I decided to put some fabric over it and iron it out. Worked like a charm and now it looks perfect!

Guys, I don’t usually leave reviews, but I gotta say- I dig this hat. Packed perfectly, has a good weight, super cute and fits my big head. Would 100% buy again.

It's cute but comes folded and holds the folds. I've gotten sun hats before and they have always been rolled. Would be much cutest without the creases.

I wore this to an outside concert and kept me from the sun plus it's stylish. A must buy especially if you have a big head with hair, lol. I have sisterlocs that's thick and it worked.

I haven't worn it out yet, purchased for upcoming Bahamas trip but I tried it on and it fits and I have a big head. It's really big so I know it will help protect me from the sun. Love that I will be able to fold it to put in my suitcase.

I love the fit of this hat and the wide brim! The bow just ups its level of appeal. Protects me from the sun. Bow is quality ribbon. Adjustable inside hat. I was able to iron the creases out completely.

It was light weight and fit. On a windy day I did not like the elastic band that secures to head to prevent blowing away. I like the color and design.

I am enjoying this sun hat. Mine has an elastic band that I can use when it is windy and tuck away when not needed. Great for poolside.

The hat fit well but was too floppy, and I couldn’t see over the brim in front of my eyes. Ordered a different hat and am glad because it was too windy at a beach and the floppy hat would have been flopping around ;)

My head is huge, so when I saw that other people said that it was too big, I just had to buy it. It doesn't look the best and it has some strings that were loose, but it fit and it gave me sun protection, which was what mattered to me. I will get these lines out somehow.

I love the color my camera made it look lighter than what it should have. I have a bigger head so it fits comfortably. It's big enough but not over size to protect you from the sun. It's very elegant and looks like I paid more for it. I love it got so many compliments. Thank you

I needed the hat for the Kentucky Derby. I tried time, water & steaming to remove the fold lines and was never able to remove them. It's great for casual but probably need something a bit nicer if you're going to a garden party, etc.
