I had previously bought a different sun-protective hat, but I bought this one to match what I was wearing to my daughter-in-law's baby shower which was to be held outdoors. This hat fits perfectly well. It has one string inside which can help you adjust the tightness of the hat. The strap is also removable and that is a great feature to have! Easy to fold, wash, iron and travel with. Most importantly it does give sun protection and does not cause sweating.

This moldable, foldable hat is lightweight and comes with size reducing tape in addition to the snugging ties inside the brim. I got the beige so I can wear it with all my summer outfits. With a 1 year warranty and the UPF 50 protection, I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this hat.

I based this purchase off helpful pictures from other buyers of them holding the hat up to the sun. I tried it outside and was please by how much sun protection the brim gave. It's lightweight and nice looking. I keep it in the car to use when we travel.It has the string to adjust size, which looked like it was pulled as far as it can be when I opened the bag. It was the same color as the hat.I also appreciate the maintenance manual and 1 year warranty to care for the hat.

Kind of flimsy and doesn’t hold shape very well. Also, the beige color looks more pink in real life. Good for sun protection and packs up small in a bag.

This is the perfect sun hat! It's cute. It packs well. It has a chin strap for the blustery days on the beach or while watching outdoor sports. It washes well on gentle cycle in the machine. After washing, I just roll a hand towel (similar to how a toilet paper roll is formed) and place the crown of the hat on that to air dry and maintain its shape. I liked the hat because first and foremost it fit my head. Most hats are just a little too small. This one was not & offered ability to size for my needs with pull cords.It has good coverage and was comfortable.What I didn’t like is that it is a little floppier than I would like. It doesn’t hold its shape for long. The photograph makes it look almost crisp.All in all, good hat.Serves purpose.

Because this was such a deep shade of blue, I was worried that the dye would run as happens with newly purchased jeans. The label said handwash, but I put it into my washing machine inside a lingerie bag and used the delicate setting. I air dried it afterwards. That worked very nicely. I threw a couple of Shout-brand color catchers in the machine when I washed it to see if any of the dye ran, but the color catchers came out white, so no worries.

Nice sun hat with some style! I got a medium size, but it was a little big. There is an adjustable drawstring inside the hat, so that helped fit it more tightly. Also like the chin strap for use on windy days so my hat doesn't blow off.

I bought this hat not so much for fashion, but to keep the sun off of me while gardening - at least so far as a hat can help, (without making it some kind of beekeeper's mask). It works for that, providing lots of coverage. It also keeps bugs from getting on me easily when I'm working around taller plants. I haven't given this hat the road test yet, but I like the way it fits and looks, except for the bow. When I removed it, it left a line of small holes in the fabric which are not that noticeable but still, over time, they may enlarge/fray? I'd like to suggest to the manufacturer that they create a bow-less version for those of us who are not cute 20 year old Asians (the models you use to sell these hats). Love the sun coverage --It leaves my head and face cooler than my previous hat (wide brimmed, straw material). You can adjust the fit from the inside but it's a little finicky: It would be easier if you could keep it on your head to adjust to fit. There's also a chin strap/drawstring that you can use or remove.
