We have an electric car and we use this extension to increase the distance to the charger. Absolutely no problems with the electrics, excellent quality.

Works like a charm and most of my plugging in and out is done in the dark, the lighted end is quite handy. Tells me if the power is still on and connected, which is also a plus. It never gets hot which is why I bought it. The old cable warmed up with significant traction.

I looked everywhere before buying and couldn't find anything that said Outdoor on the product itself. This is only mentioned in the description and that's not enough for me. So after the purchase. I looked at the clasp, yes, "outer" is written on the cord. Small label but at least it's listed as outside. Made in Taiwan so better than the standard from China just my two cents.

This durable 12/3 cord is of the highest quality, workmanship and performance. We have just purchased a 1300w electric grill and there is currently no GFI 110v outlet on our patio. This is an excellent heavy duty extension. I really don't like extending the cord on a higher wattage unit like my dual home air conditioner that I put in my room in Florida, but this is the perfect cord for that as it matches the gauge of the cord, coming out of the device. .
