Be careful with screws

This is a nice product until you fix it to the wall with a screw. These are the indentations on the front cover. This is after removing the protective film. (see image). It works well and is easy to use.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • Compatibility

Overpriced jumpers, chargers, and portable power supplies

I think it works. The stupid short cable doesn't reach far enough and the rj11 cable bought as a replacement is not compatible. At $26, this is a very expensive switch when it works. Why they couldn't offer a 50ft cable for the price I don't know.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not trendy

does what it says in Tools & Equipment

Works great! Lots of cable to the inverter, more than I need but thanks! Ignition off does exactly what I need. The following model please include a LED display for the kW and V battery to emulate the prosine display. Let me know when it's available.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Not suitable for jump starters, chargers or portable power supplies

This switch is in my RV and has not lasted more than 18 months. First worked to turn on/off the inverter. However, after a year, the inverter does not turn on. It just turns off. 2 year guarantee, but you can't force anyone to answer the phone. REVISED! I've reached support! They took some information and the new switch arrived within 7 days. Thanks very much!

This is a switch - it switches normally

If you want this switch you have to buy it. It works well, the cable is long enough, the light comes on when the inverter is on. I wish it included front panel information, but that's another matter. Edit: This panel can be replaced with a momentary switch between two pins of a 6-pin cable. Look at the end of the connector with the locking tab facing up and count the wires from right to left 1 2 3 4 5 6. Momentarily connecting pins 2 and 4 will start or stop the inverter. I left all other…

love these switches.

Every stationary inverter should have one like this. Remote on/off with status display. There is a switch on the back to ensure the inverter does not work when the car/truck is not running. Or don't use this feature and use a simple switch. This switch is useful in most cases. Your inverter will not turn on unnecessarily or switch on and off with the button. Easy installation with the right tools. It's about 2" x 3" and you'll need about 1 1/2 inches of depth for the back of the switch and the…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Turns your inverter on and off

My inverter is tucked away in the back of my van and this switch is mounted in the panel of the van. I can turn my inverter on manually whenever I need power to run my van. The switch does what it's supposed to. The button must be held for 1 second to turn the inverter on or off. This is a good feature (or "feature") as it reduces the chance of accidentally hitting the switch. The button is recessed, which is another feature that makes it difficult to accidentally press the switch. a green LED…

A Must Have - Great Accessory - Low Cost - Works Great!

I can't say enough good things about this remote switch. I just wish I had known it existed beforehand. I have already purchased a high amperage (300 amp) ignition relay and built a circuit to turn on and off the main battery positive lead connected to my inverter. This was due to my old 1000 watt inverter. I had a remote switch to toggle the position of the ignition relay contacts. Two negative issues with this configuration. The ignition relay itself, when on, draws more current from my…
