Best of the best hand tools

Have been using for over 20 years and would not buy any other brand. The grip is comfortable and I have yet to damage any of my Exilite tools.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Delicate

Finely crafted screwdriver

Xcelite tools are still leaders. Chrome vanadium blades retain their precision-ground shape for years and ensure a tight fit on screw heads without slipping.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Hard to say

Nice screwdriver! in screwdriver

Xcelite is still good quality. This one seems well made, with a nice smooth finish and no sharp knobs on the handle. Xcelite grips fit my hand well so I look for them regularly. I always thought the tips of the Xcelite Phillips heads were a bit larger than other brands, but they grip the screws perfectly. Good price too!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No mold required

Good shipping but that's it

This #2 screwdriver looks the same as all my other good screwdrivers except this one didn't have a heat treated screw head, it lasted a few days before the tip failed. I will no longer order from this supplier. Quality control is important for the tools used in the work. Replaced it with the Husky brand, which has been used every business day for over a year. Still strong.

  • Special offer

Xcelite used to be good

which I ordered one of to replace the stolen one. I bought my original screwdriver in 1978. This screwdriver was QUALITY and has been used for decades with no problems. When the new one came I just put it in my tool box. I went to a screwdriver tonight and noticed that 2 of the 4 points on the tip were broken and I haven't used it yet. I have NEVER seen a damaged Xcelite screwdriver tip. Very unsatisfied with what I received.

Pros
  • . As a result I bought
Cons
  • which I don't remember but there was some

Tip worn out after moderate use

Initially I was very happy with this screwdriver as the tip had a good grip on the screw heads and the extra long blade allowed me to drive screws deep into speaker cabinets. I deal with. But after just a few months of moderate use, the edges of the tip warped, rendering the tool unusable. It no longer grips the screw heads, but simply slides away. Not very durable. I'll look around for another brand.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • Clarity
